Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2026
Ofnex Consulting Inc. is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. This is a practical commitment as well as a legal one: as an Ontario-incorporated business, we are subject to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and we design client-facing systems — including this Site — with that standard in mind.
1. Standard we target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard referenced by AODA's information and communications requirements. In practice, that means across this Site we aim for:
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and its background (minimum 4.5:1 for body text).
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element, and a site that is fully operable by keyboard alone.
- Reduced motion when a visitor's system preference requests it — animations and transitions are minimized rather than forced.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labelling so screen readers can navigate menus, forms, and content in a logical order.
- Responsive layout that remains usable at mobile widths, at increased browser zoom, and with custom text spacing.
- Descriptive link and button text rather than "click here," and form fields with clear, associated labels.
2. Current status
This Site was rebuilt with these standards as an explicit design requirement. It has not yet been through a third-party accessibility audit. We treat this statement as a living commitment: if you encounter a barrier, we want to know about it and will prioritize a fix.
3. Feedback & accommodation requests
If any part of this Site is difficult to access, or if you need information here in an alternate format, please contact us:
- Email: info@ofnexconsulting.ai
- Or use the contact form — a member of our team will follow up, typically within one business day.
4. Client engagements
Accessibility considerations extend to the AI systems and automations we build for clients — where a project touches public-facing or employee-facing interfaces, accessibility requirements are scoped as part of the engagement.
